PAINTING PUMPKINS RAIN OR SHINE

The weather may have been a bit gloomy outside, but inside all of our stores it was bright colors and brighter smiles! Every year we look forward to our Paint-a-Pumpkin event, where we invite kids and families to paint a mini pumpkin to take home and celebrate the fall festivities. Joining the event this year was our brand-new Redding store, whose fun atmosphere seems to have attracted the attention of some … spooky guests? I guess ghouls just wanna have fun!

FFA STUDENTS SCORE BIG AT NATIONALS

Grange Co-op wants to extend a special congratulations to the many individual students and teams who competed at this year’s National Convention in Indianapolis. Chapters from across Southern Oregon and Northern California represented their regions exceedingly well, with many earning silver and gold ranking, as well as many individuals earning their American FFA Degree, and several chapters earning their Star status.

Grange Co-op is proud to celebrate the success of so many FFA students and teams in our communities. Congratulations on your accomplishments at the 98th National Convention & Expo!

SEASON OF GIVING

This season highlights Grange Co-op’s commitment to helping our communities achieve more together. In September, all our stores in Southern Oregon were designated collection sites for KDRV’s Coats for Kids, along with many other community partners across the region. Newswatch 12 has gathered over 150,000 coats for children in Southern Oregon since they started this program 35 years ago. In November, KDRV’s Toy Drive will be at those same Grange Co-op sites across Oregon, and they’ll be collecting new and unopened toys for local families from November 28th through December 19th.

Our Yuba City store also got in on the giving, partnering with Results Radio for their annual Turkey Drive. Thousands of people and families benefit from this drive that last two weeks straight! They’ll also be a collection site for Toys for Tots, serving the Yuba-Sutter area, from Dec 8th thru the 20th. Lastly, our new Redding store got involved in a big way, acting as the end point for the Shasta Toy Drive! This huge turn-out by local organizers is helping Redding and Shasta County kids in a big way!

Thank you to all our customers, friends, and family who help us give back to our communities!
