Our very own Rogue Premium Ryegrass Blend is formulated in the Pacific Northwest with a triple mix of fast-establishing ryegrasses. "Tri-Rye" blends excel in forming thick, lush lawns that are resistant to diseases, pests, drought, and cold. Our blend is also called out Sun Mix because perennial ryegrasses perform best in full-sun to partial shade environments and they stand up to hot dry summer exceptionally well.


When to Apply

Best time to apply is in spring or early fall when soil temperatures are between 50–65°F. Avoid planting during the heat of summer for best results.

  • Watering: Keep soil consistently moist until germination. Afterward, water deeply 2–3 times per week.
  • Mowing: First mow at 3–4 inches, cutting to 2.5–3 inches.
  • Fertilizing: Apply starter fertilizer at seeding, then reapply balanced fertilizer after 6–8 weeks.
