What Information Do We Collect From Customers?

When you visit this site, we automatically collect your Internet Service Provider’s address, the web page from which you came, and a record of what you do while on our Site. For some site activities, like asking a question or signing up for our email alerts, we'll ask you for your email address, and we'll hang on to that so we can be sure to get back to you with what you need. When you make a purchase or register an account on the Site, Grange Co-op collects your billing and shipping address including your name, email address, billing address, shipping address, and phone number and any other information necessary to process your order. Credit card transactions are processed directly by a third-party processor. We never collect or store your credit card data on any of our systems.

Security

Grange Co-op has security measures in place to protect against the loss, misuse, and the alteration of information that we have collected. We want you to feel secure while shopping. In most Web browsers, when you place an order, you’ll see a solid key icon or a locked padlock icon. This lets you know grangecoop.com is secured through a secure sockets layer, otherwise known as SSL. This encrypts all of your information before it is sent to us when making a purchase, signing in, or editing your account settings. Pages requesting your information should always have one of these icons. If you don’t see it, please call us at 800-888-6317 and ask for the eCommerce Department to finish your transaction over the phone. We don’t save your credit card information on our servers. Our order confirmation includes only the last four digits of your credit card number. Of course, we securely transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing. Unfortunately, the Internet is not completely secure. Although Grange Co-op employs current industry best-practices, we make no warranties or representations in regard to the sufficiency of security measures. Transmission of any personal information is at your own risk. When opening a ticket or sending us an Email, you should never include your credit card number.

Children

Grange Co-op's site is not directed towards children under the age of thirteen (13) and we do not knowingly collect information from children under thirteen. All products available on Grangecoop.com, even children's products, are intended to be purchased by adults. If we discover that information has been collected from a child under the age of thirteen, we will delete that information as soon as possible and will not disclose it to third parties. If you are under 13, you may use Grangecoop.com only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Sale or Acquisition

In the event another party acquires Grange Co-op or all or part of its assets, we reserve the right to include the Information defined above among the assets transferred to the acquiring company.
