Youth In Agriculture Programs

Grange Co-op is dedicated to helping the youth in our communities perform their best, and is a proud supporter of 4-H, FFA, and other junior livestock and equestrian programs in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Every year, Grange Co-op supports students through:
- Purchases made at Junior Livestock Auctions
- Annual sponsorships of Oregon and California FFA Foundations
- Donations towards and Sponsorships of local clubs, chapters, programs, and youth equine & rodeo teams**
As part of our mission of helping communities achieve more together, we offer the following programs for youth actively engaged with agricultural projects at home and in their communities.
Annual Re-Enrollment Opens September 1st
Our GrangeRewards Youth in Ag program is a limited-time discount program for students actively enrolled and participating in 4-H, FFA, or other Junior Livestock & Equestrian Programs. Students receive benefits such as 10% off select show supplies (including apparel, tack, and show feeds), along with 1% Rewards on regularly priced merchandise.
While the program is free for qualified students, they must re-enroll annually starting September 1st, to continue receiving GrangeRewards Youth in Ag benefits. Youth in Ag GrangeRewards accounts convert to general GrangeRewards programs at age 19.
Youth in Agriculture
Grange Co-op extends our GrangeRewards Program as an exclusive opportunity for local youth in agriculture and actively enrolled or participating in a 4-H, FFA, and other Junior Livestock & Equestrian program. Students meeting eligibility requirements pay no sign-up fee for their GrangeRewards account, and can receive a 10% discount on select show supplies including apparel, tack, and show feeds*

Change Request Form

*Abuse of the conditions will result in loss of privileges indefinitely, including taking advantage of program for discounts unrelated to junior livestock project(s). Discount excludes hay, alfalfa, and bulk totes, and some special orders. Subject to availability. GrangeRewards accounts convert to general rewards program at age 19 or upon lack of re-enrollment. FFA Grant Request
In alignment with Grange Co-op’s purpose—to help our communities, customers, and employees achieve more together—we partner with Oregon & California FFA Foundations to fund a chapter grant program for local FFA chapters. This financial assistance supports chapter-wide projects or initiatives that promote premier leadership, personal growth, and career success for students, with an emphasis on agricultural education.
Oregon FFA Grant requests are open to all Oregon FFA chapters in the Southwestern and Southeastern Oregon Districts, including Jackson, Josephine, and Klamath, and Lake counties, as well as satellite regions such as Curry and Douglas counties. Applications are accepted and reviewed twice a year.
California FFA Grant requests are open to all California FFA chapters within the Superior Region, including Siskiyou, Modoc, Trinity, Shasta, Lassen, Tehama, Plumas, Glenn, Butte, Sierra, Colusa, Sutter, Yuba, Nevada, and Placer counties, as well as satellite regions such as Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
Grange Co-op provides grants ranging from $250 to $2,500. Each chapter is eligible for one (1) grant award per school year. Chapters that are successfully awarded a Grange Co-op grant must receive specific inventoried items at the nearest Grange Co-op location, even if it requires traveling a longer distance. This policy ensures chapters have access to necessary materials while supporting local inventory and minimizing shipping delays.
Grants have been historically awarded for:
- Projects that benefit the entire chapter beyond a single year
- Initiatives that involve students and include specific learning activities
- Projects that generate residual income for the chapter
- Programs that promote community engagement and support
How to Apply:
Grant applications can be submitted with the form linked below, when the application period is opened by your respective state’s FFA Foundation. A detailed budget must also be submitted separately via email to the representative designated on the form using the template provided. Budgets and attachments cannot be uploaded through the Grange Co-op Grant application form; please include the name of your chapter in the budget email subject line.

Rogue Jr. Livestock Awards Program
For nearly half a century, Grange Co-op has been formulating quality feed, contributing to countless livestock champions. Use Rogue Feed throughout your project to qualify for our Rogue Jr. Livestock Awards Program.* Become a champion at your county fair and Grange Co-op will award you a gift card worth up to $250. This program is open to current 4-H and FFA members up to age 19 in Jackson, Josephine, Klamath, Lake, Douglas, Del Norte, Curry, Coos, Siskiyou, Modoc, Humboldt, Yuba, Sutter, Butte, Colusa, Nevada, Placer, Trinity, Shasta, & Tehama counties.
The Rogue Jr. Livestock Awards Program is an opportunity to start your project on the road to success and finish strong with a market animal you can be proud of. Follow the instructions below to qualify.**
How to Qualify:
- Student must feed project animal Rogue Quality Feed for the duration of their project.
- Student must be a current GrangeRewards partner.
- Student must exhibit their project within a market class at their local district or county fair.
- Student must achieve Grand Champion Market, Reserve Grand Champion Market, 4-H Champion Market, 4-H Reserve Champion Market, or FFA Champion Market, FFA Reserve Champion Market.
- Eligible market species include beef, swine, lamb, goat, turkey and chicken.
- Students are eligible to receive one Grange Co-op gift card award per project. Prize based upon highest placed market animal award, and only one market award per project animal.
- All award submissions must be received by September 30 of the year the fair was held.
- Any abuse of the conditions will result in loss of privileges indefinitely.
- To apply for the Rogue Jr. Livestock Awards Program, please complete the application above. After application is complete, submit to Grange Co-op by clicking ‘SUBMIT’ at end of form.
- Along with submitting a complete Rogue Jr. Livestock Awards Program Application, student must also include a digital photo(s) of their winning animal at the Jr. Livestock Auction. Email photo to JrLivestock@grangecoop.com.
- By applying for and if awarded this prize, you are authorizing Grange Co-op to use your name, photo and story in future publications and advertisements.
