Oregon FFA Grant Program In Action
As part of our annual sponsorship of the Oregon FFA Foundation, Grange Co-op dedicates a portion of our contribution to directly support the growth and development of FFA chapters in Southern Oregon and surrounding communities. In our most recent cycle of grant fulfillment, we helped:
Mazama FFA further develop their greenhouse and plant propagation set-up, enabling more hands-on horticulture projects and facilitating more opportunities for fundraising by selling their own plant starts
Glide FFA lay a concrete slab to improve accessibility at their Land Lab, especially as it relates to steers and swine getting their regular weigh-ins
Henley FFA restore a chicken coop on their campus, which provides fresh eggs both to their campus as well as a fundraising opportunity in selling to the general public.
Phoenix FFA increased the functionality of their Vet Med building, adding kennel space to aid in local pet adoption efforts and also educate students in animal husbandry and veterinary care.
Our Klamath Falls crew loading Henley FFA and Mazama FFA with goods provided through our Oregon FFA Grant program.
Lighting the Way with Learning & Leadership at Oregon FFA
Over 2,400 FFA students and advisors gathered in the heart of Redmond, Oregon this year for a convention that felt more like a homecoming than a conference. The 2025 Oregon State FFA Convention was a chance for Grange Co-op to reconnect, learn, and grow as a community with FFA chapters from across the state, including several chapters that we’ve had the privilege of collaborating with in the past years. This year’s theme was “Light the Way”, highlighting the spirit of leadership and exemplary attitude that is in every FFA member, past and present. Grange Co-op was on hand all weekend, engaging with students to hear about their project progress, congratulate them on their chapter’s degree advancements, and in the spirit of connection, we brought not one but two jumbo “Corduroy Cool” FFA blue jacket cut-outs, signed by chapters near and far. Thank you Oregon FFA for another wonderful state conference, we can’t wait for next year!
Celebrating Creed and Community: Grange Co-op Supports California FFA Foundation
Grange Co-op is proud to sponsor both Oregon and California FFA Foundations, and members of our Yuba City management teams received our Creed sponsorship honor during the California State FFA convention in early April. Thank you California FFA for another successful state convention, see you next year!
Proudly Parading Through the Pear Blossoms: A Medford Tradition in Full Bloom
Each year, we look forward to taking part in one of Medford’s most cherished traditions—the historic Pear Blossom Parade. This year’s event was truly one for the books! With perfect spring weather and an incredible turnout, it was one of the biggest and best parades we’ve ever experienced. A heartfelt thank-you to the organizers for putting on another fantastic weekend that brought our community together in such a meaningful way. We’re already counting down to next year!
Planting Pots and Spreading Positivity: A Picture-Perfect Pot-a-Plant Day
Spring was in full swing at Grange Co-op’s annual Pot-a-Plant event, spreading joy from Yuba City all the way to Klamath Falls, Grants Pass, and everywhere in between!
If you haven’t heard, every spring Grange Co-op puts on this free community planting day where customers can bring up to three containers from home—or purchase them in-store—and we provide the soil and helping hands to get your garden growing.
Thanks to a generous donation of premium Gardner & Bloome soil from Kellogg Garden Products, participants got a strong start to the container gardening season.
A heartfelt thank-you goes out to our amazing G&B partners for joining us at several Grange Co-op locations, and a special shout-out to the dedicated student groups who made the day extra special by assisting customers: Hallwood 4-H, Lost River FFA, Phoenix FFA, Prospect FFA, Barnyard Beasties 4-H, and Hidden Valley FFA. We appreciate you!
