How To Use

Set

• Set the dial to the rate per gal as listed on the label of the liquid concentrate being used. Make sure the dial is set to a specific setting as it will not disperse any product if the arrow points to a position between setting numbers
• Rotate the sprayer nozzle to the desired spray pattern
• Direct connect to Ortho concentrates or pour concentrate into jar
• For direct connect, twist Dial N Spray one quarter turn onto concentrate bottle until connection is firm

Fill

1. Pour the desired amount of concentrate into the jar. (Do not add water)

Spray

• Connect the garden hose to the sprayer
• Turn on the water
• Head to the furthest point and work backwards
• Squeeze the trigger to begin spraying

Caution

• Before using any product, read the product label to ensure it is compatible with this sprayer
• Using bleach and soap will damage the sprayer
• The Ortho Dial N Spray hose end sprayer includes a special anti-backflow device. This prevents any product from flowing back into the water system
• Products like Ortho Groundclear that kill weeds and grass are best applied with a tank sprayer

Disposal Methods

After use, clean the jar and sprayer and store until needed.

Special Instructions

• The container should be cleaned after each use. To do this, pour any unused concentrate into its original container. Remove the Ortho Dial N Spray hose end sprayer jar and rinse it out. Fill the jar with water and then re-attach to the sprayer. Adjust the dial to the 4 oz setting and spray for at least 30 seconds
• If the product layer in the sprayer jar appears to be unchanged while you are spraying, the sprayer screen may need to be cleaned. Remove the strainer from the end of the suction tube, clean under running water and place back onto the suction tube
