Feeding Directions
Feed the following amounts of Apple Elite Paste electrolyte per day. Always provide access to water when using this product. May be used up to 12 hr. prior to exercise or travel to help minimize electrolyte loss. Best given in approximately 20cc increments to minimize product being “dropped” from the mouth. May be given every 4 to 6 hr. if needed.
- Maintenance or light exercise (Exercise Intensity) - 15-25 cc (Amount/day)
- Light sweating (neck, under saddle) (Exercise Intensity) - 20-45 cc (Amount/day)
- Moderate sweating (whole body) (Exercise Intensity) - 30-45 cc (Amount/day)
- Heavy sweating (whole body, dripping) (Exercise Intensity) - 60 cc (Amount/day)
