Recipe: Oat Cakes

Oat Cakes

Yield: Makes five 5 inch cakes


  • 1 1/2 cup Oat Scone Mix
  • 3/4 cup Quick Cooking Rolled Oats
  • 3 teaspoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tarter
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons water

Cooking Directions

  1. Mix dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Add melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Add water and gently mix will.
  4. Shape into balls and pat out to 1/4 inch thick on greased baking sheet.
  5. Bake at 375° 12-15 minutes until golden on bottom.
  6. Cool a bit before removing from baking sheet.
