An excellent source of antioxidants and vitamin C, this food preservative protects the color and flavor of your produce. The fruit preserver contains no sulfites or artificial colors or flavors and has only 5 calories per quarter teaspoon serving. br You can sprinkle Fruit Fresh directly onto freshly cut fruits or vegetables, or you can prepare a pre-treatment solution. Here are some directions and ideas for using Fruit Fresh: br Fresh Produce: Sprinkle 1/2 tsp. on 1 cup sliced fruit or vegetables and toss. br Fruit Tray & Salad: Mix 2 tsp. Fruit Fresh in 3 Tbsp. of water and toss with up to 1 qt of sliced fruit or vegetables. Serve immediately, or cover and refrigerate. Serve within 6 hours. br Guacamole/Dip: Stir 2 tsp. into dry ingredients for each cup of dip. br Recipes: Mix 3 Tbsp. to 2 Quarts water and add sliced fruit or vegetables. Drain. Prepare recipe. br Canning or Freezing: Add 1 tsp. to each cup of liquid in recipe. br Freezing: Mix 1 Tbsp. for each Quart of sliced fruit for unsweetened fruit, or mix 1 Tbsp. with 1 cup sugar for each Quart of sliced fruit for sweetened fruit. br Dehydrating: Mix 2 Tbsp. to 2 qt of water and add fruit. Drain and pat dry. Prepare recipe.
