On September 25th Grange Co-op began raising funds at point-of-sale for the Phoenix-Talent Fire Relief Fund. As part of their GrangeGives campaign, Grange Co-op pledged a match of up to $25,000 raised by customers towards the fire relief fund. As of November 11th Grange Co-op customers raised nearly $20,000 for the residents continuing to recover from this devastation. The overwhelming support of customers from all seven Grange Co-op locations reflects a generosity and goodwill like none other. Grange Co-op recognizes the importance of distributing funds to the families in need as quickly as possible and will contribute the remaining pledge, completing a total donation of $50,000.
“Our customers rallied together to help our community in a time of need. We wanted to ensure that we could make a real impact, together” states Neil Itzen, CEO. “Contributing these funds to our community that has been devasted by such a tragic wildfire is extremely important to the co-op and helps fulfill our company purpose.” In the community’s greatest time of need, Grange Co-op is proud to partner with those who respond to tragedy with empathy and generosity.
