On September 9th Grange Co-op began raising funds to benefit those displaced by the wildfires, including livestock and pets. With the partnership of its customers, Grange Co-op helped raise over $14,000. With the needs changing daily for those affected by the fires, Grange Co-op is refocusing efforts by converting their round-up at point-of-sale to benefit the Phoenix-Talent Families Fire Relief Fund. Beginning September 25, 2020, Grange Co-op will begin collecting funds for Phoenix-Talent Families Fire Relief Fund at all 7 retail stores.
As part of their GrangeGives campaign, Grange Co-op has pledged a match of up to $25,000 raised by customers towards the fire relief fund. “Grange Co-op was founded when 99 farmers worked together to help each other succeed. We understand the importance of banding together in times of need, just as our predecessors had done 86 years ago,” states Jason Wall, Marketing Manager. “By partnering with our loyal customers, we can make a large impact.”
In 2018 Grange Co-op customers helped raise over $24,000 dollars for Camp Fire Relief, a fire that devastated Paradise, California. CEO Neil Itzen states, “Our customers share the same values as we do, we are a community that helps others, and together we can make the biggest impact.”
