Meet Land O’Lakes/Purina Swine Nutritionist, Emily Otto-Tice as she discusses swine pen/housing options, bedding and cleaning, as well as feeder and water options. Emily will go into detail on recommended nutrition, appropriate quality feed, as well as how to ensure your pig is receiving the adequate amount of protein, vitamins and minerals to support growth.

Emily received her Ph.D. in swine nutrition from Purdue University, where she researched growth improvement and nutrient digestibility in growing pigs and poultry. She holds an M.S. in non-ruminant nutrition from Michigan State University and has worked with the Indiana Soybean Alliance and Indiana Corn Marketing Council, Indiana Pork, JBS United and Christensen Family Farms.
